“Entre Soles y
Lunas / imaginaries of a migrant world" is a
communication project that seeks to put on stage the
different realities that are lived in migratory
processes in both countries of origin and transit
and destination. To inquire into its motives, causes
and effects can also to show manifestations of
racism, discrimination, xenophobia and all forms of
intolerance inherent in migration.
The project is led and promoted by "Asociación El
Colletero" in Spain, and supported by various
organizations in Europe, Latin America, the
Caribbean, Northern America and Africa.
It has been declared as an
interest project by the Ministerial of Education and
Culture of Uruguay. |
It is sponsored by
various entities including the UNESCO (through its
Regional Bureau for Science in Latin America and the
Caribbean), the Coalition of Latin American and
Caribbean Cities against Racism, Racial
Discrimination and Xenophobia, the Municipality of
Montevideo and University of La Rioja (Spain).
